Jayne has been hard at work recently sorting out competitions for the forthcoming year. The first of them will be to write a factual article linked to Leicester or Leicestershire. The word count must be between 1000 - 1500 words. Closing date for entries: 14th October 2010. Adjudication: 11th November. Normal Club rules apply.
The adjudicator for this will be an editor from the Leicester Mercury. So it's not beyond the realms of possibility that this might create an opening for someone within the Mercury's pages. Get writing, folks.
